Midland Crime Stoppers and the Midland Police Department need your help solving an Aggravated Robbery.
On Friday May 28th at 3:11 a.m., Midland Police responded to a Robbery in progress at the El Reventon Club located at 2201 Garden City Hwy. The owner of the bar reported that he closed the bar and left at 2:20 a.m. and after arriving home he remembered that he had forgotten a bank bag with money and decided to go back and retrieve it.
When he entered the bar, the owner noticed that the television was on and a Hispanic male 6 feet tall slender build wearing a white shirt and jeans walked towards him pointing a small black frame handgun.The suspect took an undetermined amount of cash and ran out the front door in an unknown direction of travel.
The suspect entered the business through a vent in the roof and what started as a Burglary of a Business turned into an Aggravated Robbery.

Michigan in the early evening hours of Wednesday April 21st.The homeowner reported that he saw a Black male wearing a white shirt and blue jeans climbing out a second story window as he drove up.The homeowner discovered that the rear door had been forced open and the residence was burglarized.

Officers were called to the area of South FM 1788 approximately 11 ½ miles south of West I-20 in reference to a theft of an excavator rake.Anderson’s Grubbing Service stated that someone had come onto the job site and took the rake between April 22nd and April 26th.An excavator rake is a large piece of machinery that connects to the excavator to pull mesquite out of the ground.

On March 17th, deputies were again called to the AT&T building located at 9806 West I20.Upon arrival, it was discovered that 1000 feet of telephone cable was missing from 3 cable spools.The fence was cut from a neighboring business and the cable was dragged through the fence into what looks like a dually pickup.This wire is marked every foot on the outside of the cable and is easily identified.If you see any large amount of cable not on spools please call.

On Sunday February 21st at 4:30 a.m., a female victim was returning to her apartment located at 5266 West Loop 250 the Newport Apartments.As the victim walked to her apartment located on the north side of the complex, she was approached by a black male in his mid-20’s, approximately 5’7 with a medium build wearing a black and gray ski mask, old camouflage shirt with a gray sweater underneath.
The suspect had his left hand covered indicating he had a handgun and pointed it at the victims head and ordered her to the ground.The suspect took a large turquoise colored purse containing several items of value including the victims Blackberry.The suspect then fled on foot through the complex leaving the victim terrified but unharmed.
