On March 13 2018 at 8:30am deputies responded to a business located in the 7100 block of W. HWY 80. Deputies met complainant who stated a male and female entered a small building behind the main building by breaking the front door to gain entry. Once inside the video depicts the actors to be going from room to room eventually leaving the store with over $2000.00 worth of computer equipment and damaging the business cameras.

On February 26, 2018 a business owner filed a forgery complaint with the Midland County Sheriff’s Office.  The victim state that a local bank contacted him and advised that a suspect passed a forged check from his company on two occasions.  The first being on February 9th and again on February 22nd.  The total amount forged by the suspect is over $24,000.

Front.  As the store clerk bagged the items, one of the subjects took the items to their vehicle.  The other subject pretended he was going to pay and then took off running.   Both suspects appear to be Hispanic males.  One is 6’0” weighing approximately 280 pounds last seen wearing a gray jacket, black jeans and gray hat.   The other suspect is 5’8” and weighs approximately 180 pounds wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and gray hat.

On January 3, 2018 at 11:18am, deputies met with the complainant who stated his 2016 Freightliner truck, valued at over $80,000.00, was stolen from the 11000 Block of West County Road 72. Deputies and the complainant activated the GPS on the truck and later discovered the truck a few miles south of the location of where it was stolen from. The truck was vandalized, and suspects locked the doors prior to leaving the truck. Even though the truck was recovered, investigators are needing your help in capturing the suspects involved in this theft.

On January 28th at 1:00 a.m., the Midland Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at Trinity Pallets located at 2901 South Highway 349.   Upon arrival, they found that several pallets had been set on fire.   Approximately a week later, a second call came in on February 2nd at 10:00 p.m. with another report of pallets on fire.   The property has several acres of pallets and thousands of pallets have been burned.  The Fire Department has spent many hours putting each of these fires out to make sure they didn’t reignite.

On January 1, 2018 at 10:04 a.m., deputies met with the victim in the area of South County Road 1273 who advised that between December 28th and January 1st unknown subjects damaged an excavator and a motor grader that was left at a work site.  The suspects damaged the tracks, windshields and the blades were broken off which caused the hydraulic lines to break.   The total cost of damage was over $80,000.

On December 21, 2017 at 3:25 pm deputies responded to the 3300 block of South County Road 1180 in reference to a stolen trailer.   The victim stated that on December 18, 2017 at 6:30 pm a white pickup entered the victim’s property and backed up to a 2016 black 19-ft homemade goose neck trailer.   The suspects hook up the trailer to the white pickup and leave the property. The white pickup is described as having a flat bed with white decals on the windows of the back doors.

El 21 de diciembre de 2017, aproximadamente a las 3:25 de la tarde los oficiales respondieron a la cuadra 3300 de la calle South County Road 1180 en relación a un remolque robado.  La víctima le informo a los oficiales que el 18 de diciembre de 2017 aproximadamente a las 6:30 de la tarde una camioneta blanca entro a la propiedad y puso el vehículo en reversa hacia el remolque de cuello de cisne hecho en casa.  El remolque es un 2016, color negro de 19 pies largo.  Los sospechosos salieron del vehículo y conectaron el remolque a la camioneta blanca y huyeron de la propiedad.  La camioneta blanca cuenta con una cama plana y con calcomanías blancas en las ventanas de las puertas posteriores.

On November 17, 2017 at approximately 9:59 pm, deputies responded to the 7-11 convenience store located at 13920 W. Hwy 80 in reference to a Robbery. The clerk stated a Hispanic male wearing a black jacket with a hoodie entered the store and produced a weapon and demanded all the cash from the register. Suspect then exited the store leaving West bound on foot with an undisclosed amount of currency. Pictures and video of the suspect can be viewed below.

Midland Crime Stoppers and the Midland Police Department need your help in identifying four suspects involved in a Burglary.

 

On November 29th around 3:45 a.m., four subjects broke into the concession stands at Security Bank Ballpark.   The suspects were not able to steal anything, but they did cause significant amount of damage.  The four suspects appear to be in their teens. 

 

We need your help identifying these four suspects who are not the brightest bulbs on the Christmas tree!

**CASE CLOSED - Warrant issued for Michael Battle for felony Credit Card Abuse**

 

Midland Crime Stoppers and the Midland Police Department need your help in identifying two suspects involved in a Credit Card Abuse.

 

Between October 13th and October 18th, two subjects have been going around town on a shopping spree using a stolen credit card. The first suspect is descried as a black male with a shaved head, in his thirties, approximately 6’0 and 200 pounds. The surveillance photo shows the first suspect wearing the black Levi's t-shirt and other photo captured him wearing a black/white Adidas t-shirt. The second suspect is a black male with black hair, also in his thirties, 6’0 and 200 pounds wearing a blue shirt with black long-sleeve underneath.
